Eating Sound (2013 - )

This project, devised and scored by Sam Bailey, was first performed as part of Free Range at the Veg Box Cafe, Canterbury on 2nd May 2013 and most recently at the Truscott Arms, Maida Vale, on 29th October 2013. The concept is that of inducing a synaesthetic representation of taste and sound in the audience who consume superb food designed specifically for the event. The courses are accompanied by specially scored pieces performed by a group comprising (variably) piano, violin, harp, flute, saxophone, clarinet, double bass and myself on laptop electronics and percussion. There have been three of these events so far and there is another scheduled for 23rd September 2014.
